BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!  Appalling or not, that movie was fucking hilarious!  Yes, it WAS disturbing, but shock factor can not possibly detract from something as hilarious as two people perpetually eating shit.  Can’t wait for the sequel.

Finance Capitalism is Causing Starvation

 

We all know Soviet-style communism causes starvation.  Looks like American-style capitalism does the same thing in a different way.  Johann Hari in the Independent, from this past July:

Still wanna keep assuming capitalism’s great and everything’s hunky-dory?  Our luxuries and apathy allow corporations and the elite steal food out of people’s mouths and entire ecosystems from their environments.

Sign the petition, call your local senator and demand a “no” vote against this bullshit-ass law.  It’s just too bad direct action isn’t going to bring this one down…

I don’t buy it.  Not saying it’s NOT true, because I have no way of knowing.  But if you ask me, it sounds like an attempt by western media to discredit this revolution (and any revolution, for that matter) and demonize the Egyptian people.  I’d like to hear more about this topic to form a clearer picture…
